People can often use phrases like “I am damaged”, I am rubbish’ ‘ I am a idiot’ ‘I am fat’ ‘I am ugly’ This can then result self sabotaging.
Think about it. If someone came up to you in the street and said those things to your face,that you are saying to yourself, you would want to punch their lights out!
But yet for some reason it is ok to say it about yourself ????

You can run and hide from what is ever causing you harm, (suppressing it) or you can Fight and stand up and be accountable for it.
A long time ago there were caveman. Their threat was larger animals eating them. The Mind and body came into play with fight or flight, eat or be eaten.
We have different sorts of threat now, cause our mind and body to stay alert. Which lets face it can be exhausting!
